Radchenko O.A. was born in 1969, Doctor of Biology. She has been working in IBPN FEB RAS since 1994 after graduation from Biology and Soil Department (specialty of Ecology) of the Far-Eastern State University, as a senior technical assistant , junior researcher, researcher, senior researcher of the Laboratory of Genetics, Academic Secretary (2005-2012), Deputy Director for Science (since 2012), since September, 2013, acts as Alternate Director.

From 1994 to 1996 she was studying at a post-graduate course by specialty of Genetics under the Northern International University (Magadan). In 2003 she defended a candidate thesis (PhD) Variability of mitochondrial DNA of chars, genus Salvelinus by specialty of Genetics in the Vavilov Institute of General Genetics RAS (Moscow) , in 2015 passed a doctoral thesis Taxonomy and phylogeny of eelpouts from suborder Zoarcoidei (Pisces, Perciformes) by specialty of Ichthyology -  03.02.06 and Genetics - 03.02.07 in the A.N. Severtsov Institute of Ecology and Evolution.

Her range of scientific interests includes genosystematics, phylogenetics, and population genetics of fishes. Radchenko O.A. is an author of over 50 research papers, including one monograph. Studying results of Radchenko O.A. are represented on Russian and International conferences, and are used as conservation recommendations in the project work course of the Far-Eastern Marine Foundation and the Sate Committee for environmental control in the Magadan region. She is a responsible officer for the pre-arranged topic of Research Activity (RA) IBPN FEB RAS, manager and co-executor of RFBR, RFBR-FEB RAS, FEB RAS grants, a member of Joint Academic Council for biological sciences FEB RAS. Radchenko O.A. is a recipient of Main prize of 2006 and a prize of 2010 of International Academic Publishing Company “Nauka/Interperiodika” for the best publication in RAS journals; she was awarded by Certificate of Merit of FEB RAS.
